Abdul makes his first appearance in a public bar in March 1996.  For this momentous occasion he chooses The Big Four at the Huntington Hotel on Nob Hill in San Francisco.

Bad news for Abdul.
The jovial bartender, Ty, informs Abdul that he has reached his limit and orders him to leave.  This is the first, but not last time that Abdul is tossed out of a public place.
